MANILA, Philippines — Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) teams from the 525th Combat Engineer Battalion (525CEBn) showcased their capabilities before the Thailand Ministry of Defense (MOD) delegation at the Philippine Army (PA) Headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

In a statement on Friday, the Philippine Army said the event was held on Thursday during Deputy Permanent Secretary for Defense Gen. Tharapong Malakam and the high-level Thai MOD delegation’s visit to the army headquarters where the 525CEBn displayed an array of capabilities in a range of various HADR operations.

The visit of the Thai delegates was in connection with the 5th Philippines-Thailand Joint Committee on Military Cooperation Meeting hosted by the Department of National Defense.

The meeting reaffirmed the two armies’ bilateral relations which included discussions on future collaborations promoting military cooperation.
